Women's Initiative Main content begins here The Women's Initiative fosters and promotes equality, opportunity, access to services, justice and inclusion for women in Edmonton. This includes addressing the need for equal access to employment possibilities.

This includes recognizing issues and opportunities, and profiling the demographics and psychographics of women. Inseveral community forums and conversations were held, reaching out to over diverse women to talk about women's issues, engagement and leadership.

Members are active in public affairs, work together for equality for women and girls, to raise the social, economic, political and legal status of women, as well as to improve education, the environment, peace, justice and human rights.
